Climb Qampa – 3 days / 2 nights

We’ll leave Cusco at 7:30am to take a private transport to the pueblo of Rodeana, at 3700mts. From Rodeana we’ll walk till the Upis campsite, at 4210mts, which will be a 4 hour hike approximatedly.

Early in the morning we’ll start our walk to the Ausangate viewpoint, crossing the Azulcocha Valley, with beautiful turquoise lagoons. We’ll camp at Pachaspata, at 4750m, arriving there around 3pm. This day we’ll have dinner and sleep very early, to prepare ourselves for the ascent of Qampa.

Hot springs in Pacchanta3rd day – CAMPO BASE – CUMBRE – PACCHANTA – CUSCO
To the ascent of Qampa we’ll leave the base camp at 4am. After a 1h30 walk we’ll reach the glaciar and keep ascending till the Summit, on a route that doesn’t require experience. We’ll reach the summit around 8h30am. We’ll come back down on the same trek till the Pachaspata basecamp. We’ll have breakfast and then take an easy 3 hour walk in the Ccomerococha Valley till the villaje of Pacchanta, where we can enjoy the hot springs (5 soles, optional) before taking our transport back to Cusco.

    I am interested in this climb and pls reply with details on departure date, how many people, and price. I would prefer a small group of 2-3,so would increase a chance of summit.
    I have some mountain experience in Nepal, European alps and dolomite.

    I arrive in Cuzco on 14 March and would like to do the climb around 19 or 20 March.

      yes for qampa normaly we take 2-4 person inthe group .
      the price is 340 dollar per person, 2-3 persons inthe group . 4 persons low to 300 dollars
      only 1 or private tour it is diferent shoud be some more expencive
      all is incluided climbin gear , camping equipament, transport, mules, meals etc
      i am in contact
